this is me. i found out days ago that after a year of trying...(crying through most of it)...i am going to become a mom.
i am in a state of nirvana.
i am in love all over again with my body.
i am going to make a great mom...or at least i will go crazy trying.
but no more tears. for now.
i am a we now. we feel good. we are hungry.
we have to pee.

you ARE going to make a great mom, because don't you think that you've ALWAYS been a great mom....it's just that now your body has caught up to what your soul has already known?? that's how i like to think of it. to say that i am thrilled for you is an understatement.

You were always a mother, "THAT", my dear Meg, was born with your spirit and included in the big designer bag of goodies God blessed you with! Enjoy every miraculous moment of this, especially the ones that are SO GROSS that they make you look at yourself in the mirror and laugh out loud! So thrilled for you both, that words don't express it! And I promise... I will DO MY BEST (for your sake ONLY!) to NOT shake your baby around and throw it up in the air, like Greg does with the boys! Lucky Baby, Lucky Parents! Proud Aunt!
